I'm inviting you to come out and support me at the 13th Annual Women In Distress SAFEWALK-RUN  5K Saturday, October 29, 2011 at 7:30am at Markham Park.  I will be walking and running to raise money for Women In Distress of Broward County, the only nationally accredited, state-certified, full service domestic violence center serving Broward County.  I have worked with this organization by volunteering my time and have read my own poetry at their centers. Being a survivor of DV, I can tell you that any help or support you can provide this organization is greatly appreciated and every penny goes to helping out these women and children.
